THE CLIMATE
It is always hot in Polynesia, bring light clothing, do not overload yourself, casual outfits are essential. For women, adopt the pareo. You will never be as beautiful as with a pretty colorful pareo, bare feet and a flower in your hair.
Avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours and bring good sun creams. Be careful of sunburn when going on boat trips. Wear hats or caps.
The climate is tropical, hot and humid with a lot of sunshine. The rainy season lasts from November to April but the tropical showers only last a very short time and the sun returns quickly. This is the hottest season. The dry season extends from July to October and the evenings are cooler. This is the famous southern winter conducive to festivities. Avoid the month of February which is generally the rainiest. Our hotel closes during this period.

As in any tropical country in the world, there are mosquitoes in Polynesia. We treat in an ecological way so as not to harm the environment but it is impossible to eradicate mosquitoes.
The best thing is to protect yourself. However, avoid chemical bombs that are very harmful to you and the environment, and opt for natural products.
At the hotel shop, you will find very effective products based on monoi and lemongrass. Inside your suite, turn on the air conditioning and you will not be bothered by mosquitoes.
Remember that paradise rhymes with ecology.
