All flights arrive at Faa'a International Airport, located near the city of Papeete on the main island of Tahiti. Due to its proximity to Tahiti, Moorea is easy and quick to reach.
Please note: if your flight arrives in the evening, you will have to spend the night on the island of Tahiti because transfers between Tahiti and Moorea are not operated after 5:00 p.m.
Likewise, if your return flight is scheduled early in the morning, plan to spend the night before your departure in Tahiti.
FERRY TO MOOREA
The most convenient way to reach Moorea from Tahiti is by ferry, a scenic journey that takes 30 to 60 minutes. Several ferry companies offer daily schedules, departing from the port of Papeete and arriving at Vaiare Marina in Moorea. Prices start at 1,500XPF (€13) each way.

FLIGHT TO MOOREA
The 15-minute scenic flight between Tahiti and Moorea departs daily from €115 return in low season. There is one flight per day all year round between Tahiti and Moorea. There is also a flight to the island of Bora Bora from Moorea.
