For women, adopt the pareo. You will never be as beautiful as with a pretty colorful pareo, bare feet and a flower in your hair.<br \/>Avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours and bring good sun creams. Be careful of sunburn when going on boat trips. Wear hats or caps.<br \/>The climate is tropical, hot and humid with a lot of sunshine. The rainy season lasts from November to April but the tropical showers only last a very short time and the sun returns quickly. This is the hottest season. The dry season extends from July to October and the evenings are cooler. This is the famous southern winter conducive to festivities. Avoid the month of February which is generally the rainiest.
